NEYRET GROUP JOINS GROUPACK TO CREATE A LEADING EUROPEAN MECHATRONICS GROUP
Chaponost, Milan, June 28, 2024
Under the leadership of Bruno Neyret, the eldest son of founder Guy Neyret, NEYRET GROUP has experienced strong organic growth in France and has branched out into China and the United States. Wishing to accelerate its growth, taking into account the structure of the family capital, contacts were established with industrial partners in the same field of activity with the objective of becoming a much larger group and offering all types of solutions to major order givers.
Thus, Groupack*, through its subsidiary Mech-I-Tronic, an industrial holding company and unifier of medium-sized companies, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Neyret Group, thus strengthening the technical expertise of its Mechatronics division and increasing its network in Europe, America, and Asia.
Neyret Group designs and manufactures totally tailor-made assembly machines for virtually all industries, particularly those with demanding assembly and quality processes: the pharmaceutical sector (for example, insulin injectors, syringe and needle safety devices, inhalers, valves, and pumps), cosmetics (valves and pumps for perfumes and creams, lipsticks), automotive industry (gasoline or water quick connectors, microswitches), electrical (relays, circuit breakers, connectors), other consumer goods, etc. Neyret Group stands out for its ability to develop innovative machines at very high cycle rates thanks to unique technological mastery in indexed or continuous motions, machines produced by Société Guy Neyret, Lagniel SAS in France, and Franklin Automation in the United States.
By integrating Neyret Group, Mech-I-Tronic (MIT) consolidates its position as a European leader in industrial automation applied to complex products, particularly in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors. The very complementary businesses of Neyret Group and Mech-I-Tronic, in particular of Bettinelli Fratelli SpA, will allow the new group to offer a complete range of special-purpose machines to cutting-edge industries, in continuity with the historical excellence of the companies involved.
Bruno Neyret, CEO of Neyret Group, declares: “I am very happy to join an ambitious Group, sharing the family values that have accompanied our development for nearly 40 years. The numerous technical and commercial synergies made possible by this merger will allow the new group to occupy a central place in the world of special-purpose machines.”
Marco Giovannini, President of Mech-I-Tronic, adds: “We are particularly excited about this final stage of the development of the Mech-I-Tronic project. The integration of Neyret Group, in addition to considering new business lines and markets, will allow us to take advantage of the experience and capabilities of the management and employees of a long-established company in the sector. . We plan to grow further while continuing to guarantee our customers the best level of service and quality.”
